When I first started reading this book, I wondered why Amber was still pining over a relationship that ended close to three years ago. But then I began to realize that there was more to it than that, and I really felt for her. I also have never experienced heartbreak like she did (luckily for me, I found my soulmate when I was seventeen and married him when I was twenty-three). And by the way, I don't even really believe in soulmates - I think it's more a matter of finding someone who is right for you, someone who will be there for you no matter what and vice versa. But by the time I was finished reading this book, it honestly made me wonder if there really are soulmates.

The author did an excellent job with character development; I got to know Amber and became completely immersed in her world. And Radley, the man who helps her in her time of need, was just wonderful. I have always preferred a genuinely nice and caring guy over the controlling, alpha male that is often portrayed in romance novels.

This book is considered paranormal/fantasy, but those elements were slowly introduced, so the story still had a realistic and believable feel to it even though much of what happened is not actually possible. For a while there, I thought I was beginning to figure it out, but then it changed in a different direction than what I had imagined. It had an original and creative plot, but most of all, it was a beautiful love story.

I loved the line: "I will wait a hundred years for you." It kept reminding me of the Lana Del Rey song, "Blue Jeans."

There are very few books that I will read more than once, but this is one that I plan to revisit. I read it in a very short time while I was at the shore because I simply couldn't put it down, and it was a perfect read for sitting on a balcony with a view of the ocean nearby. It honestly gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling by the end, although I was sad to have finished it. I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get caught up in an intriguing romance.

I usually don't read this genre of books but I decided to read this one. Must say for a first time writer Uma has done a great job..to the point, crisp and always manages to maintain the momentum. There was no moment when I felt I should stop reading. And reading it on made it more easy for me. In flight, at airport and sometimes in office too. Loved the way the entire story unfolds with surprises that come along. Writer manages to connect with me as a reader at emotional levels too and I could imagine visually as I read. Great going Uma. Waiting for part two.

I strongly recommend all the readers. Uma has done a great job. Keep it up girl!
This is not usually the genre I read but this book agreeably pleased me. The fast moving plot drew me in quickly. I could sympathize with the main character, Amber, and her sense of loss and betrayal for her first boyfriend.

The relationship between Amber and Radley seemed to move along organically, without being forced. The paranormal component of the story gave it a nice touch.

Overall, an enjoyable read!
I've had my own fantasy, loved every bit of romance novel all my life. I knew the author before she actually decided to publish this book. I knew I had to purchase it online from . I knew her as One talented woman, and she awed me further with her most talented work piece which is all poured out in her writing. it was the moment I read the beginning of the story, which kept me wanting more. And she continued her journey till the finish. Though I was kept in suspense as to how the story was going to end, I believe every author needed their own space to ensure she captures the heart and soul of amber. I felt as if these characters were real and I hope this story gets noticed and a movie is done based on this. That's my wish and Dream.

I love the beginning, the emotion, and I wish I'll find my own Radley. Every bit of this story gives me goosebumps, honestly I'm proud of her work and wishing the author the very best. I'd like to see what happens next....meaning looking forward to the story being continued. I just love the feeling. Thank you for making it feel sureal.

This book was so good, I had a hard time putting it down. You get a little bit of everything,...mystery, suspense, and a bit of romance. There were enough twists and turns in the story to keep me page turning to see what would happen next. The characters were very likeable, each one was well developed and the stories within the story were well thought out. The two nosey older sisters were my favorite.

The emotions Amber went through after a bad breakup were tugging at my heartstrings as I read through the pages. She meets Radley when he finds her on the side of the road when her car breaks down. Even though at times Radley seemed a bit stalker-ish, it all came together at the end of the book. I loved the relationship that Amber and Radley had.
